About This Project
Bayfest Culinary Explosion took place on Saturday 20th February, 2016. Chef Eddie G of The Food Network’s Coast to Coast Cuisine, Chef Irie Spice of PBS’ Taste the Islands and St. Lucia’s own Chef Orlando highlighted the event. People from all over the world discovered cuisine in keeping with the spirit of St. Lucia. The St. Lucian National Culinary team and Junior Chef team were also on hand to give demos during the day. In helping celebrate the 37th anniversary of St. Lucia’s Independence the day was also filled with live performances and plenty of entertainment to keep the crowd satisfied.
BAYFEST is a new addition to the St. Lucian calendar, bringing together artisans, entrepreneurs, vendors and performers to showcase their talent to thousands of consumers in the heart of Rodney Bay.
