About This Project
Caribbean Style Week is Fort Lauderdale’s premier fashion event offering an international platform for designers from the Caribbean to seamlessly connect with customers, media and buyers. The event will increase the domestic awareness of Caribbean grown fashion and increase the global presence of Caribbean design, while highlighting the vibrant culture and sophisticated vibe that solidify the Caribbean as a region with style influences from across the world.
We were tasked with creating a one hour documentary on the week’s worth of events held in South Florida. It was a hectic pace but we managed to produce a documentary on the state of Caribbean Fashion and its connection to the Diaspora. The documentary features some of the Caribbean’s finest, from Miss Jamaica 2014 Kaci Fennel, to the head of Marketing for Westfield Mall Broward.
